Reviews of “The All4s Sessions” are coming in, the first one is from the Belgian FestivalBlog.be, where Erik gives the release a big thumbs up! :)

The review is in Dutch, but we were so generous to translate in English… enjoy!

“For Greater Good consists of Izzy (compositions, synth, vocals) and Sam (synth, noise, loops, vocals) and bring a kind of ambient that takes you to higher atmospheres and lets you relax completely, a fact already proven in 2008 when they delivered their debut ‘For Greater Good’. This latest album is a compilation of songs recorded during a live session in “Kessel @ Veranda”.

For Greater Good also teams up frequently with other artists. Not only on this album: in 2010 they already collaborated with Japanese cult writer Kenji Siratori. Time and again you’ll be immersed in an intimate atmosphere by the use of soundscapes, and a dark sense of calm overtakes you. Things can become very intense, a fact already proven several times on stage.

On this album you can truly ‘feel’ the music to the depths of your veins, not solely by the contribution of Izzy and Sam themselves, but the exquisite soft violin background sounds pretty heavenly thanks to Evan Roy; not to mention Jonas G. providing additional sampling to complete the picture. The best way to listen to this album is to close your eyes and let yourself drift on the gentle waves of the sea. It’s actually a good form of meditation which we can strongly recommend.

Ambient music is a genre that is perfectly suited for the latter, and For Greater Good has managed to bring it to a higher dimension. Beautiful, intense and intimately enjoyable!”

Thanks to Erik for a great review!
