Swandream the brand new electronic music project of samdevos and Andrew Chi Claes will perform at Mashables Social Media Day Antwerp on thursday 30th of June 2011.

Mashable is an internationally renowned website about social media, mobile and technology. Bringing breaking digital news on all things web. With the Social Media Day they created a realtime-net of meeting points around the world were bloggers, advertisers,  and others that work with social media on a day-to-day basis meet.

On June 30, 2010, the first Social Media Day in Antwerp, Belgium, was organized. It was launched as one of many events that were set up at the occasion of the Mashable Social Media Day.  Coming together to celebrate and connect in a unique, festive and relaxed atmosphere in a great venue with magnificent views over the river. This year it’s back on thursday 30th of June 2011.

Swandream got invited to perform their music at the relaxing cooldown moment after the workshops and keynotes but also a bit the warm-up for the party with DJ Yoena (Petrol, Kissinger,…) and samdevos and many more…

Swandream formed after a chance meeting of samdevos and Andrew Chi Claes. The spontaneous combination of their gear, ideas and different musical backgrounds led them to a place between electro, idm, and psychedelic ambient with a firm place for backbeat grooves and weird lyrics. No holds barred.

Excellent!!! Proper English for a change… off topic, but I just had to comment since the 5-6 previous blogs on the subject matter were written by people with quite a poor grasp of the English language. Kudos to the author, you’ve restored my faith in blogger literacy ;)
